Songs I like this September (2011)

Having recently recieved an Ipod (Thanks Xsara!), I have been constantly playing around with different music, some of which I am experiencing for the first time (Bachata Music). Here are the songs I am crazy about this September :-)

5. Nwa Baby by Flavour.

This song has me jumping all over the place everytime I hear the first note...



4. Tobina by Daddy Owen.

Gospel music is quite a hit in Kenya. I have been guilty of gyrating to it in the club at one in the morning. And it is all because of catchy tunes like Tobina :-)



3. Danza Kuduro by Don Omar

I could almost swear that the first time I heard thiss song was as the credits rolled on the movie Fast Five... Love it!



2. Rechazame by Prince Royce

I learnt about this Bachata song from my friend Nicky. We were at Brew Bistro in Nairobi for the Salsa night. This has got to be the most delightful song I have ever come across..



1. A drop in the Ocean by Ron Pope.

I first came across it while watching Vampire Diaries Season 3 Episode 1. It is the last song that plays during the episode... Ron's voice is divine.

Cheese :-)

I love cheese! My friends know that I am an addict :-) In Kenya we do have cheese companies like Brown's Cheese, which is fantastic, but nothing beats the dutch cheese. And so it was a complete thrill when my dutch best friend came back from Holland with Reypenaer Cheese. I was one second away from asking for her hand in marriage :-)

Coastal Escapades...

It is Saturday at six thirty in the evening. I ventured out of Nairobi to the coast yesterday with a friend to escape the unpredictable cold weather in Nairobi. At last I got the chance to check out a place I have been curious about for a while, The Sands at Nomads. It is located in Diani, South Coast. Below I document the view from my laptop :-)
